Every tree has a story.
We just listen.

We wait for the wood to do its thing. Only after the grain and color reveal themselves do we decide what piece it was always going to become.

Three growth rings, not three steps on a blueprint.

Ring 01

Uncovering the raw beauty

It starts with fallen timber possessing incredible potential. Instead of cutting to fit a predetermined blueprint, we mill and prepare the slab to see what natural patterns, figure, and color tones emerge.

Ring 02

Letting the wood decide

Wood is a living medium, and no two pieces behave the same as they cure. We patiently wait to see how the natural hues deepen, how the grain flows, and what unique characteristics present themselves.

Ring 03

Crafting the final form

Once the wood has "done its thing," the true design presents itself — a dramatic live-edge dining table, a striking charcuterie board, or a statement coffee table, honoring the story already written in the grain.

Each piece takes many years to make.

(But the tree does most of the work…)

All of our products are made by hand, with love, in the heart of Tennessee Walking Horse country – Shelbyville, TN.
Our craftsman focus all their attention on your piece and hold themselves and each other to the highest standards.

"Most builders start with a blueprint and search for wood to fit it. I do the opposite. My work begins with patience—watching how a slab's colors shift, how its figure catches the light, and where its natural lines want to go. I don't force a piece of wood to be a table or a bench; I wait until it tells me what it wants to be. The result isn't just custom furniture—it’s a unique, unrepeatable piece of natural art."
